Hello Custer Cougar community, Last week, our topic was big emotions, flipping our lids, and finding simple ways to calm down. This week, I am excited to continue the theme of big emotions and coping strategies. The counseling team talks about the feeling of worry (or anxiety), how it feels/looks like (body sensations and behaviors), worry triggers (school, home, friends, family), and more grounding activities (exercising, gratitude, creativity, talking). Here are the links to this week’s Wednesday Wellness videos: It is very helpful to identify how strong - or how intense - our feelings of worry are.
